The Quakers will look to end the month strongly as they welcome Buxton to Blackwell Meadows for the second time this season but for the first time in the league.

Darlo have already faced Buxton twice this season, once early in the season away from home, where Buxton took the three points with a 2-0 win and in the second round of the FA Trophy, when a last-minute Cedric Main goal put Darlo through to the next round.

Darlington are coming into the game after a strong week of results with a 1-0 win against Kidderminster, who were top of the league at the time, and a well-earned 0-0 draw against Curzon Ashton.

The Quakers opponents' Buxton are coming into the game after a 4-1 win against Marine and will want to replicate that performance at Blackwell Meadows.

Away from home, The Bucks find themselves 11th in the league with five wins and two draws in their twelve away games. They’ve scored 17 goals when playing away, which is the 9th highest in the league, and defensively have been solid with 15 goals conceded, which is tied for 4th best in the league.

Kallum Griffiths got a second yellow in the last game against Curzon Ashton, but he will be available to play, as the red card will take a week to come into effect.

A familiar face to Quakers fans will be Tom Elliott, who has been a real attacking threat this season, with seven goals and six assists for Buxton. Tom signed for the Quakers in 2018 from Nuneaton Borough when Tommy Wright was manager and impressed in the Quakers midfield, and in the following season, he left the club for Hednesford.

They have also recently signed 21-year-old attacker Johnny Johnston from Redditch United. He made his debut for Buxton on Saturday against Marine, scoring two goals in a 4-1 win, so the Quakers will need to watch him closely.

They also include Kieron Burton, who was on loan with Darlington last season from Scarborough, and Liam Ravenhill, a loanee from Doncaster two seasons ago.

Buxton's assistant manager is Ricky Ravenhill, who played for Quakers during Dave Penney's time as manager 17 years ago.
