On Saturday we picked up our first away victory in the league since October with a 2-1 success at Boston United thanks to goals from Nathan Cartman and David Syers.

The victory saw us move above Tamworth into seventh place on goal difference with a game in hand.

League leaders AFC Fylde extended their lead at the top of the table to 10 points after a 3-1 win at Brackley Town whose playoff hopes are diminishing. Danny Rowe gave Fylde the lead at half time, which was doubled by Steve Williams after half time. James Cliffton pulled one back for the hosts, but Rowe got his second to seal the points.

Salford City moved up to second after a 1-0 victory over Stalybridge Celtic. Mike Phenix scored the only goal at Moor Lane early in the second half.

They moved ahead of Kidderminster Harriers on goal difference after they lost 2-1 at fourth placed Chorley. Jack Sampson and Jake Cottrell put Chorley in control and they held on for victory despite a goal from Andre Brown.

Halifax are in the final playoff spot after a 2-1 win at Worcester City who are now in the relegation zone. Matty Kosylo opened the scoring shortly after half time for Halifax and Tom Denton doubled the lead five minutes later. Tyler Weir scored from the penalty spot to keep Worcester interested, only to be given a second yellow card for his celebration.

A National North record crowd saw Stockport County stay level on points with Halifax after victory over FC United of Manchester. Elliot Osbourne and Scott Duxbury put Stockport 2-0 up and they held on for a 2-1 win despite a Jerome Wright penalty.

Tamworth lost 1-0 at Telford United, who eased their relegation worries thanks to Paul McCone's 19th minute goal.

Harrogate Town are ninth after being held to a 0-0 draw at bottom of the table  Altrincham.

Gainsborough Trinity picked up a point at home to Gloucester. Nathan Jarman put Trinity ahead from the spot, but Sam Avery earned a point for Gloucester in the second half.

Bradford PA have moved up out of the bottom three and are now 18th after a 2-1 win at Nuneaton Town. Shaun Killock put Bradford ahead before half time with Oli Johnson adding to the lead. Jordan Nicholson pulled one back in the last fifteen minutes for Nuneaton but they were unable to earn a point.

In the final game of the weekend Curzon Ashton beat Alfreton 5-0 who are back in the relegation mix. Matty Warburton scored a hat-trick along with goals from Ryan Hall and Niall Cummins.
