Our Under23s taste cup action for the first time when they go to Gateshead Leam Rangers in the Clem Smith Bowl on Saturday.

They've done well so far, beating Easington Lane and Wolviston in the league to give them maximum points, but now they have a test in the cup against Leam.

Manager Grant Cuthbertson said; "We'll be missing forwards Matthiew Kiro and Jack Mortimer because of suspension. They will both be a big loss but that is why we have a squad and those that come in to replace them, this is their time to stand up and give the management team some difficult decisions when the two suspended players return.

"We take the confidence and experience forward from the previous games in which we have learned, developed and gelled as a team. Hopefully we'll put on a good, strong and disciplined performance and continue in a positive direction.
