The reserves have now scored 18 goals in three matches after they easily beat Stokesley 5-0 in the Wearside League at Eastbourne on Saturday.
The lads have won their last three matches by 5-1, 8-1 and 5-0 to put them nicely in contention in the Wearside League, and joint manager Mark Fanning said; “It was fairly comfortable win for us, and it was one of our better performances of the season, maybe even better than our 8-1 win over Annfield Plain last week.
“Nathan Stephenson played very well. Instead of playing up front, he played a little bit deeper and scored twice. It was great to see Dale Milburn back, he set the first two goals up for Nathan. We defended well, and didn’t give Stokesley any chances at all.”

Nathan scored the first two goals, then James Beauchamp got the third and fourth either side of half time. Jonny Hope finished Stokesley off.

Their next game is away to Hebburn Town Reserves on Tuesday night.
