We'd like to thank our groundstaff and volunteers for putting in some hard work into the Blackwell Meadows pitch on Saturday afternoon in an attempt to make it playable for Sunday's home game with Salford City.
We'd also like to thank some local farmers, who very kindly dropped off some straw for us to cover some icy areas of the pitch.
The inspection takes place at 8.30 on Sunday morning -- cross your fingers!
