Reserves looking for more steel at Annfield Plain

The reserves are hoping to bounce back from last Saturday’s defeat to Redcar Athletic when they travel to Annfield Plain.

The lads fell away in the second half against Redcar Athletic, and joint manager Mark Fanning said; “We need to recover from last week’s defeat, because Redcar took conrol too easily.

“Some of the players need to roll their sleeves up more, and build their character. A couple of heads went down last week.

“We’ve been a bit hot and cold since the start of the year, the same as our opponents on Saturday. “

Centre back Rees Greenwood is struggling with a hamstring injury, but Callum Webster, Adam Morley and Leo Kirkbride all return. Centre half Anthony Verity is unavailable.
