Darlington Reserves are looking for the three points against Hartlepool in their local derby at Eastbourne on Saturday.

Quakers want to end the season in style by winning their last two games, and complete a remarkable turnaround from last October when they were in the bottom three of the table. They are currently in the top half of the table in tenth place.

Joint manager Mark Fanning said; “We’ve played well in virtually all of our home games so far, although last week we were beaten by the better side against Cleator Moor.

“Maybe the last two weeks we haven’t quite been on our best form because we’ve been giving all the lads some game time.

“We’ve come a long way in the last five months , and we want to continue improving over the last two matches and finish as high as possible.

“Saturday’s game is a local derby in some ways, but it’s not on the same scale that we were used to in the Football League. For example, Hartlepool are a different club altogether to Hartlepool United.

“We would still welcome plenty of support from fans who might not be going to Fylde.”

Quakers' last game is their longest away trip of the season to Cleator Moor next Wednesday.

The reserve game kicks off at Eastbourne at 2pm
