Supporters at the Polam End prior to the match with Bury in October 1994 at Feethams, a 2-0 defeat. Some of the fans would switch ends from the Tin Shed at half-time, but it was announced prior to this game that the practice would soon be stopped with the erection of fences. Season 94-95 ended with the team 20th in Division Three, Robbie Painter being the top league scorer with nine goals, but the following campaign would be much better with the club reaching the play-offs for the first time.
