The reserves face a big test of their six game unbeaten run when they face title challengers Redcar Athletic at Eastbourne.
The lads have hit top form recently, and in their last home game they put six past Prudhoe. However, they won’t have things all their own way against Redcar, who are fourth in the table and beat them in the reverse league fixture earlier in the season.
Joint manager Mark Fanning said; “This is going to be a tough game, because Redcar are probably the best side we’ve played against this season. But we’ve given them a good run for their money twice this season. We lost the league game, and we drew with them in a cup tie before losing on penalties.
“We’ve played well recently, without really hitting top form. The lads have played some good football and created plenty of chances, which is a good thing.”
Callum Webster, Gareth McMahon and Adam Morley all return to the side, while there could be a couple of under 18s added to the squad.
If you’re not going to Leamington, why not pop down and watch the reserves? The match kicks off at 2pm, at Eastbourne.
