We moved out of the bottom three after a 2-2 draw at home to Chorley. Reece Styche and Stephen Thompson twice put us ahead, but we had to settle for a point.

Salford City picked up a huge win at home to second place Harrogate to move 11 points ahead at the top of the league table. First half goals from Michael Phenix and Thomas Walker put the Ammies in the box seat. Harrogate pulled one back midway through the second period thanks to Dominic Knowles, but Salford held out for the win.

Brackley missed the chance to go second, as they were held at Tamworth. The Lambs took the lead through Callum Powell, with James Armson earning a 1-1 draw for Brackley with six minutes to go. They are one point behind Harrogate.

Fourth placed York and fifth placed Spennymoor could not be separated at Bootham Crescent. Jonathan Burn and Aidan Connolly twice put the hosts ahead, but Ryan Hall and Andrew Johnson earned the Brewers a 2-2 draw.

Blyth Spartans stay sixth after drawing 1-1 at home to FC United of Manchester. Sean Reid put Spartans ahead before player manager Thomas Greaves earned a point for FC United.

Stockport County could have finished the day in eighth but lost 3-1 at Southport who moved away from the bottom three. Rhys Turner had given Stockport a lead in the first ten minutes, but a second half double from Jack Sampson and a strike from Jason Gilchrist gave Southport the win.

Alfreton won a crucial relegation battle against Leamington 4-1 to move up to 15^th. Cieron Keane scored twice, along with goals from Brendan Daniels and Ryan Kennings for Alfreton. Liam Canavan pulled a late goal back for Leamington, but they are now just one point ahead of the relegation zone.

Boston United’s recent good form continued as they moved into the top half of the table after thrashing bottom of the table North Ferriby United. They had five different scorers, as Ashley Hemmings, Gregory Smith, Reece Thompson, Bradley Abbott and Kabongo Tshimanga gave them a 5-1 win. Adam Bolder scored North Ferriby’s goal from the penalty spot.
