On a warm Thursday morning Sky Sports TV presenter Jeff Stelling continued his March for Men through the country from Exeter to Newcastle. His quest is to visit 40 football grounds along the way and raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
This leg started from Darlington Blackwell meadows where they will walk the 30 miles to Hartlepool. Walkers gathered from 6.30am and were treated to a light nutritious breakfast provided by DRFC.
Waved off by Martin Gray there were several local people who were doing todays walk, including Darlington FC’s Nick Burton and Darlington RFC’s Mike Wilkinson.
