Jen Harrison signs for Darlington Women

Experienced addition to the squad
Darlington FC Women are delighted to officially announce the signing of Jen Harrison.
Jen has had spells with Fleetwood Town and Blackpool FC earlier in her career but took a break from football to start a family. More recently, Jen has played her football in tier 6, playing for Bishop Auckland Ladies F.C last season.
Jen said; "I am really looking forward to the season and the fight for promotion this year. Having played in the league above last year, I know this team has what it takes to compete at a higher level. I’m excited to be a part of the journey to help them get where they want to be."
Manager Shaun Mackenzie said; "I am delighted to bring a player of Jen's quality into the squad. Jen trained with us briefly last year but decided to sign for Bishop and play at a higher level. She showed an interest in stepping down a level to join us for pre season and she has showed enough quality in the last few weeks that we know she can help us towards achieving that ultimate goal of promotion. Jen plays in central midfield and will give us that extra grit we sometimes need in recovering the ball and being faster at playing the ball forward in the transition."
