The two sides have developed a good relationship during the Quakers two seasons in the Evo-Stik North with Darlington taking large numbers of fans to Harrogate on both of their away trips.

At the start of the year Nathan Cartman joined Darlington from Harrogate RA having already scored over 30 goals in the first half of the season. He went on to help Darlington secure promotion through the play-offs and scored the crucial first goal in the play-off final.

Ahead of the game manager Martin Gray said, "The game was part of the deal that brought Nathan here in January and he will be captain for the day tomorrow."

This summer Rob Youhill also made the switch to Heritage Park and has already shown in his brief appearances in pre-season that the winger will be a more than useful addition to the side.

The game will be followed just two days later by the rearranged friendly against York City on Monday night.
