Salford City took full advantage of the Quakers struggles, as they moved back to the top of the league table. They were 4-0 up at half time against Prescot Cables thanks to goals from Gareth Seddon, Daniel Webber, Paul Linwood and Grant Spencer. Jack Phillips pulled one back for Prescot Cables, before Jordan Hulme and Adam Morning sealed a 6-1 victory for Salford. Salford are now three points ahead of Darlington, with the Quakers having two games in hand.

Northwich returned to winning ways with victory away at Lancaster City. Richard Bennett scored the only goal of the game half way through the second half.

Scarborough Athletic helped their play-off chances with a 1-0 victory at Clitheroe, Alex Metcalfe netting the goal, as the Seadogs remain in fourth place.

Spennymoor Town were made to settle for a point at home to Mossley. Joshua Granite gave Mossley the lead, before Liam Henderson levelled for Spennymoor right on half-time. Gavin Cogden gave the hosts the lead in the 50th minute, but Mossley earned a point and a 2-2 draw just five minutes later thanks to Thomas Pratt.

Bamber Bridge are outside the playoff places on goal difference, after picking up four points this week from their two games. They travelled to Farsley on Saturday, a game which saw the hosts take an early lead in just the seventh minute through Andrew Welsh. Darren Green levelled for Bamber with Alistair Waddecar giving them the lead on the hour mark. However, Farsley earned a 2-2 draw and a vital point in their own play-off push thanks to a goal from Robert O’Brien.

Bamber returned to winning ways on Tuesday night at home to Ossett Town. Nathan Curtis gave Ossett a lead inside the first minute, however, goals from Stuart Vasey and Glenn Steel turned the game around for Bamber before half-time. Curtis Thompson and Andrew Bell both added further goals for the hosts in the second half as Bamber Bridge ran out 4-1 winners.

Droylsden kept themselves in the race for promotion with a comfortable victory at home to Ossett Town. Michael Monaghan scored a first half double, as the Bloods went in at the break 2-0 up. Ciaran Kilheeney made it 3-0, before Nathan Curtis pulled a goal back for Ossett. Benjamin Deegan added a fourth with quarter of an hour to go, as Droylsden ran out 4-1 winners.

Mossley completed a good week on Tuesday night, as they comfortably beat struggling Radcliffe Borough, 4-1. Thomas Dean, Kyle McGonigle, Andrew Keogh and Porya Ahmadi all scored for Mossley inside the opening 50 minutes before Steve Foster scored a late consolation for the visitors.

Harrogate RA dropped a couple of places, as their play-off chances took a hit following a shock defeat at home to Prescot Cables. The Monday night fixture saw Prescot take an early lead through Neil Prince before Lamin Colley levelled for Harrogate in the fifth minute. Prescot grabbed the winner in the second half with 22 minutes left thanks to James McCulloch, as they gave themselves some breathing room above the relegation places.

The final game of the week saw Warrington Town keep their faint play-off hopes alive with a comfortable victory away to Radcliffe Borough. David Mannix gave the Wire the lead in just the second minute with James McCarten making into 2-0 not long later. David Brown pulled a goal back for Radcliffe just before half-time. However, further goals from Nathan Burke and Ben Collins sealed the victory for Warrington, 4-1.

Darlington look to bounce back this weekend when we host Bamber Bridge at Heritage Park on Saturday. Salford travel to bottom of the table Padiham, with third placed Northwich Victoria hosting Radcliffe Borough.
