Salford twice came from behind at home to sixth place Farsley to stay at the top of the table. Farsley took an early lead through James Riley, but Sam Madeley levelled for Salford. Riley regained Farsley’s lead, before Madeley once again levelled. Ashley Dunn then scored the winner for Salford in the 55th minute, as they won the game 3-2. The win means Salford are now six points ahead of Darlington, however we do have five games in hand.

Northwich Victoria moved into second place after a comfortable victory over bottom of the table Padiham. Gary Burnett scored twice, along with goals from Richard Bennett, Godwin Abadaki and Chris Smalley in a 5-1 victory for Northwich. Bobby Langford scored Padiham’s consolation.

Droylsden remain in fourth despite defeat at home to Mossley. Porya Ahmadi, Samuel Robinson and Joshua Granite gave Mossley a 3-0 lead inside 25 minutes. Ben Deegan and Stephan Hall scored to give Droylsden hope. However, Michael Fish sealed the points for Mossley late on, as they won the game 4-2.

Scarborough Athletic remain in a playoff place despite also losing at home. Ben Wharton and Chris Gahgan gave Warrington a 2-0 lead, before the hosts got one back through Ryan Blott. Gahgan scored his second and Nathan Burke added another for the Wire to make it 4-1. Gary Bradshaw scored a late penalty for Scarborough, but Warrington ran out 4-2 winners.

Spennymoor Town helped their playoff push with a 1-0 victory at Burscough, Shane Henry scoring the only goal on the stroke of half-time. The Brewers are only two points off the playoff spots with games in hand.

Clitheroe stay in the top half of the table, however they gave away a three goal lead at struggling New Mills. It was 3-0 at the break after Sefton Gonzales scored a double, with Jason Hart also on the score sheet. However, second bottom New Mills earned a valuable point thanks to an own goal and strikes from Daniel Forde and Matthew Landregan, as the game finished 3-3.

Lancaster City won 1-0 at home to Ossett Albion, Tom Kilifin scoring the goal eight minutes from full-time.

The final game of the week saw Brighouse Town take all the points from their trip to Radcliffe Borough. An own goal from Daniel Lafferty was followed by a Danny Hull strike to give Brighouse a 2-0 lead. Sam Cook pulled one back for Radcliffe, but Ryan Hall sealed the points and a 3-1 win for Brighouse.

This week we travel to Ossett Albion with the game kicking off at the earlier time of 2pm. Salford City travel to Brighouse Town, with Northwich Victoria away to Prescot Cables.
