Our 1-0 victory at Northwich Victoria on Tuesday night kept us just behind league leaders Salford City. We are three points behind with a game in hand, meaning six wins from our last six games would all but guarantee the league title.

Martin Gray has a few options ahead of the game, with Alan White now available after serving his suspension. Following the victory and performance on Tuesday night, Gray may be tempted to leave the team as it was.

Gray said "This weekend is pivotal to every club, not just us, but Salford, Spennymoor, Northwich, Scarborough, Mossley and Bamber Bridge.

"We will all have a good idea of where we stand after Monday's games.

"We have to make sure that we're at our best, and play at the same level as we did on Tuesday night at Northwich.”

Droylsden have been around the playoff places all season. However, it appears they will be unable to make the top five following relegation last season. All season they have been a team who have been able to score a lot of goals, but they have also conceded many. They have scored 92 times in the league, more than any other team.

Darlington and Droylsden have four of the top five goal scorers in the league. Nathan Cartman and Graeme Armstrong for Darlington, Ciaran Kilheeney and Benjamin Deegan for Droylsden.

Our earlier meeting in the season, ended in a disappointing 2-1 defeat for the Quakers. Despite leading 1-0 at half time and facing ten men we were unable to bring any points back to the North East.
