Plenty of Darlo merchandise on sale at Quaker Retail

Lynn Jasper from the Club Shop tells us about the Darlo merchandise available in Quaker Retail.

With only three scheduled home games before Christmas, unless we are drawn at home in the FA Trophy, why not start your Christmas shopping today? Pop into Quaker Retail any weekday, or pop into the Retail Unit at Blackwell Meadows before Saturday's home game with Guiseley, and have a browse through our merchandise before you go through the turnstiles, we have something for every pocket.

Home and Away shirts -- Our home or away shirts make great Christmas presents and we have all sizes available for you to choose from. We also have full kits priced at £47 for juniors and £60 for adults. Our Goalkeeper jerseys are also available in green, blue or yellow if you are a budding goalkeeper.

Leisurewear -- Our Puma leisurewear is proving very popular. We have everything from Liga training jerseys in red or black priced at £25 to our Sideline and Spirit polos at £30 up to Puma hoodies priced at £46 in red or black.

Wallets -- A brand new line for us are our black leather wallets with DFC branding on the front. They are a fold out design and have a coin compartment and six interior debit/credit card slots and a double note compartment. Our wallets priced at £15 are packaged in an attractive box with the club crest displayed on the front in silver. I think they make an ideal Christmas present.

I thought I’d put together some ideas if you have a price in mind for your gift:-

£30 present -- For £30 you could buy a Liga training jersey £25, a key ring £4 and a Darlo pen £1.

£25 present -- You could have a Wallet £15, a Darlo Bear £9 and a Darlo pen

£15 present-- A club baseball cap £10, a key ring £4 and a badge for £1.

Beautiful babies

Two of our fans have recently sent me their pictures of their “Darlo” babies which they have given permission for me to use.

Keith and Kath Thomson sent this lovely photo of their first grandson Joseph who was one week old in this photo. Mam and dad Lee and Clare are currently living in Dubai. Keith says that Joseph couldn’t wait to get his Darlo babygrow and here he is pictured with the ball at his feet on grandad Keith’s knee.

Tim Johnson has sent this photo of baby Evelyn also wearing her Darlo babygrow and here Tim tells us about his family.

Pictured below, proudly wearing a Darlo babygrow is five-month-old Evelyn Annie Johnson. The Liverpool born youngster has a DFC pedigree to match that of most supporters. Two of her great great grandfathers were season ticket holders and one, Harry, supported the town when the club achieved its highest ever league position during the 1925/26 season, which was 15th in the second division - these days known as The Championship. Great grandfather Bill regularly attended Feethams and her grandpa Tim is a current season ticket holder. Mum and dad, Tracy and Stephen, purchased the babygrow in response to West Ham supporting grandad John who had already lined up a claret and blue kit for his granddaughter. Ev’s great grandma, 94-year-old Kate, still lives in the town although rather stubbornly remains a Boro fan. Up the Quakers!
