Appeal for witnesses

Bottle throwing incident

During the drinks interval in the second half of today's game against Kidderminster, a plastic bottle was thrown from the Tin Shed towards the Kidderminster goalkeeper. Fortunately, it didn't cause him any injury.

However, the match referee and the match observer both told the club after the game that they will be mentioning the incident in their respective reports, and so we are now facing a possible sanction by the FA, even though we issued advice about conduct to spectators before the game.

We are looking for witnesses to the incident, you can write to us in confidence at report@darlingtonfc.org.

We would also like to apologise to the Kidderminster goalkeeper and to Kidderminster for the incident
