Academy home games moved to Billingham Town

Bad weather forces move

The home games of the Darlington FC Academy will now be played at Billingham Town for the rest of the season.

Quakers have been unable to stage home games at Wolviston's Metcalfe Park because of waterlogging, and so we have decided to move the short distance to Billingham Town's Bedford Terrace ground. The first team played a competitive match there in the Northern League six years ago.

Games will still be staged on a Wednesday afternoon, and spectators will be more than welcome.

The first game will be this Wednesday (18th December) in the League Cup against Kidderminster, kick off 1pm.

We'd like to thank Billingham Town for their help and co-operation, and look forward to a fruitful partnership.
