We travel to Brackley on Saturday looking for our first win of the season.

Despite goals from Stephen Thompson and Reece Styche, a late Glen Taylor goal meant we had to settle for a 2-2 draw against the Moors, but at least we gained our first point of the season after losing to Curzon Ashton on Saturday.

Brackley lost on the opening day at Bradford Park Avenue 1-0, but bounced back with a 3-1 win over Alfreton on Tuesday night.

Over the last two seasons we have won once, drawn once and lost twice against Brackley, although they won both meetings last season by 3-0.

They had a very impressive 2017/18 season as they won the FA Trophy and just missed out on promotion with playoff final defeat at Harrogate.

Darlington manager Tommy Wright has this to say about the game:

Kick off on Saturday is at 3:00pm  and updates on the game will be made from the club’s Facebook, Twitter and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast on Darlo Fans Radio from 2:30pm.

Team news:

Darlington left back Ben O’Hanlon is missing because of a one match suspension for his red card against Curzon Ashton, but midfielder Liam Hughes comes back into the squad after being unavailable in midweek.  Centre half Jonny Burn is slowly recovering from a back injury, he’s hoping to be fit for Wednesday’s home game against Blyth
